North Windships will be attending the Royal Institute of Naval Architects (RINA) Wind Propulsion 2026 conference, held in association with the International Windship Association, taking place on 17–18 February 2026.
The event brings together industry leaders, designers, operators and technology providers to examine the role of wind-assisted propulsion in the transition towards lower-emission commercial shipping.
Dr Martina Reche Vilanova, Naval Architect at North Windships, will be speaking on the company’s approach to working alongside key stakeholders across the commercial shipping sector. Her session will focus on how structured, data-led tools such as WindWise support informed decision-making, enabling shipowners and operators to assess feasibility, integration and operational impact when considering wind-propulsion systems. The presentation will explore how these tools can contribute to both operational cost reductions and meaningful emissions savings when wind technology is applied in the appropriate context.
Also attending the conference will be Rudy Jurg, Head of Sales for DynaRig, who will be available to discuss wind-assisted propulsion solutions and their practical application across a range of commercial vessel types.
Delegates attending RINA Wind Propulsion 2026 are encouraged to connect with Dr Reche Vilanova and Mr Jurg to discuss how wind-assisted propulsion can be evaluated, integrated and deployed as part of credible, long-term decarbonisation strategies within commercial shipping.
